Since 1992 the John Martin Gallery has presented the works of an exceptional group of painters and sculptors through exhibitions, art fairs and museum collaborations.
It's first virtual exhibition showcases the work of Scottish artist Leon Morrocco.
“Looking out to Sea” is the final result of a journey through Britain, Holland, France, Italy and Portugal. The artist, forced to interrupt his journey due to the lock-down, completed his paintings inside his studio using just memories and imagination. His masterpieces seemed designed by looking from a balcony that directly overlooked the sea.
These artworks are now brought together in association with Portland Gallery, for one of the largest exhibitions devoted to the artist’s work.
